Addressing a Q&A session in the legislature’s hemicycle yesterday, Secretary for Security Wong Sio Chak said that the local government could ask for assistance from its counterparts in Hong Kong and Guangdong if it needed helicopters for rescue purposes.
Wong made the remarks when answering a question by lawmaker-cum-unionist Jose Pereira Coutinho, on the last of a two-day Q&A session about his portfolio’s policy guidelines for next year.
Wong and several other senior officials of his portfolio attended yesterday’s plenum in the Legislative Assembly’s hemicycle.
