MGM Cotai held its “MGM Chef Nic Gastronomusic Fest” on Saturday and Sunday on the resort’s Roof Terrace, together with the “Chef Nic” gourmet brand founded by Hong Kong celebrity Nicolas Tse Ting-fung as well as his team, with the aim of showcasing the creativity and vibrancy of Macau as a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy.

The two-day event, which combined gourmet and music, featured a superstar lineup “fork n’ roll” music festival headlined by Nicholas Tse’s rock ‘n’ roll band, alongside Chinese rock band Tarzan, pop stars Hailey Liu Wenjun and Young Cao (曹楊), Hong Kong band Dear Jane, pop singers Edmond Leung Hon-man and Gin Lee Hang Ngai, rising stars Panther Chan (陳蕾) and MC Cheung Tin-fu, as well as Hong Kong girl group XiX as supporting act, according to the MGM statement.

Tse showcased his culinary expertise as a chef with his exceptional “Chef Nic” team of acclaimed chefs, with seven chefs and nine MGM chefs presenting over 20 Chinese and Western gourmet dishes from 11 cities across the world.

This was the second event following the debut of “MGM Chef Nic Gastronomusic Fest” in 2019, with the aim of creating a “sensational mix of delicious cuisines by the culinary teams and an impeccable gig in an open-air live concert.
