Installations and mapping shows continue to illuminate different parts of Macau through the “Light Up Macao 2023” event, offering both locals and visitors a raft of different photo spots and interactive zones.

The event, a collaboration between different government entities and Macau’s six integrated resort (IR) operators, kicked-off in early December and runs until February 25 under the theme Dazzling Wonderland.

A recent Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) statement said that the annual event features light installations, along with three mapping shows, across 34 locations in seven districts in the peninsula, Taipa and Coloane. The seven sub-themes comprise “Blooming Splendour” in the city centre, “Light Up! Porto-A-Ma” in the Praia do Manduco district, “Dancing Butterflies and Blooming Wonders” in Nam Van district, “Travel Around the Universe” in Nape, “Joyful Journey” in the northern district, “Fantasy Fairyland” in Taipa and “Coloane Ambassadors” in Coloane.

The lights are on from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Moreover, maps have been set up in the different areas to enable members of the public to see where other installations are in their respective districts.

More details, along with an online version of the maps and the schedule of the mapping shows, are available on https://lum.macaotourism.gov.mo
