Power utility CEM announced in a statement yesterday that its Tariff Clause Adjustment (TCA) for the first quarter of the year will increase by two avos (cents).
The TCA, according to CEM’s website, refers to the “adjustment in tariff to reflect fluctuation in energy production cost that is fixed quarterly”.
The statement noted that being affected by changes in fuel prices, the TCA for the first quarter for the Power utility’s Tariff Groups A, B, and C customers is 39 avos per kWh, which is 2 avos per kWh (kilowatt-hour) higher than for the previous quarter, based on the calculation method specified by the respective regulations.
The details for the Tariff Groups and more information can be found on: https://www.cem-macau.com/en/customer-service/billing-service/tariff-clause-adjustment/
