Peking duck specialist Blossom Palaces has recently opened its first Macau restaurant at Galaxy Macau, marking its eighth branch outside of Guangzhou, Shanghai and Shenzhen, according to a recent statement from the integrated resort operator.
The statement noted that the restaurant is famed for its signature fruitwood-roasted Peking duck and has set “the highest standard in the industry”, of which it sells 250,000 annually in the mainland.
The statement said that the restaurant exclusively uses the celebrated “Beijing Four-Strain Duck” for their tender texture and fatty skin, giving the roasted duck its melt-in-the-mouth crispiness. The ducks are sourced from Blossom Palaces’ designated farm in the mainland, each weighing around 2.3 to 2.4kg.
The meat, the statement added, is fatty, flavourful, tender and juicy, while the restaurant also presents four different ways to savour the dish.
Blossom Palaces also employs the “hang-roasting” technique, while its traditional red-brick duck oven is designed to impart layers of fruity aroma into the roasted duck, the statement noted.
Diners can enjoy table-side service, the statement added, as well as tips on how to savour each dish from their dedicated duck chef, the statement said. The restaurant also offers tea pairings and sommelier services, along with signature dishes including Chilled Hair Crab Roe Jelly with Sea Urchin and Traditional Wood Fire Roasted Peking Duck paired with Imperial Ossetian Caviar and Puff Pastry.
The Blossom Palace Signature Tea created by the restaurant’s tea master combines delicate notes of gardenia flowers, peaches and green tea, the statement said, and offers “an elegant floral aroma with a subtle undertone of sweet fruity fragrance”.
A special price of 488 patacas for its “Traditional Wood Fire Roasted Peking Duck” is on offer until February 6. The restaurant is located on the first floor of Galaxy Macau, near JW Marriott Hotel. One may call 8883 2221 for reservations. More details can be found on https://www.galaxymacau.com
CHA BEI, meanwhile, is offering its Strawberry Delight Afternoon Tea, priced at 588 patacas for two, until March 22 and features strawberry-inspired sweet and savoury treats. More details can be found on the website, while reservations can be made using the same number, the statement said.
