The Season 6 Finale of popular dance competition “Street Dance of China” was hosted at The Londoner Arena in Cotai last Saturday, integrated resort operator The Londoner Macao said in a statement on Wednesday.

The statement noted that the event marked the second time that Sands China Ltd. has hosted the finale of the variety show, adding that the contest’s fifth season finale was hosted at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Arena in 2022.

The statement added that the event was live-streamed globally through Youku, a video hosting service based in Beijing.

The 6,000-seat arena was “packed with fans eager to witness the fierce battle for the highest honour with a line-up of top dancers”, according to the statement.

The statement said that the night started with the three captains, Van Ness Wu, Jay Park and TNT- Ding, delivering the performances “Push Play”, “Fix You” and “Thule”.

Moreover, the event also saw the surprise return of captains from previous seasons Han Geng, Wang Yibo, and Lay Zhang, the statement said, noting that they cheered for the contestants and delivered their own performances.

Meanwhile, the showdown, themed “Battle for Unity”, featured 10 finalists conducting performances and battles. After three rounds, Poppin’C from Switzerland, who the statement noted is “known for his clean, strong and unique style” was declared the winner, while B-boy Neguin from Brazil came second.

According to Wiktionary, B-boy refers to “a male who performs b-boying or breaking, commonly called breakdance; a breaker”.
