A 35-year-old Filipino man was arrested for allegedly raping a 24-year-old female compatriot who works with him, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said during a special press conference on Wednesday.
According to the spokesperson, the suspect, surnamed Espanola, is a chef in a restaurant in Fai Chi Kei where the victim works as a waitress.
The spokesperson said the restaurant owner invited more than 10 of his employees, including Espanola and the victim, to have dinner at a restaurant in Rua de Cinco de Outubro on Monday. Sometime after midnight, the victim got drunk and Espanola said he would take her somewhere for noodles to sober her up.
