The Public Security Police (PSP) said in a statement that a 67-year-old female driver lost control of her vehicle and crashed into the exterior wall of a residential building on Rua de Bragança in Taipa on Monday evening.
According to the statement, six motorcycles parked in the area were knocked over or damaged by the impact. Additionally, seven motorcycle parking separators in the parking area and the building’s entrance gate were slightly damaged. An oil spill measuring about 1 metre by 1 metre resulted from the crash.
The driver incurred minor injuries and was taken to the public Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre for treatment. Under questioning, she said that she felt ill and dizzy while driving, which resulted in the accident. She passed a breathalyser test.
