The government has announced that 3,017 subsidised home-ownership scheme (HOS) flats in the Zone A land reclamation area, the application period of which was launched in 2019, will be sold at an average price of 35,600 patacas per square metre in terms of net floor area.

The Housing Bureau (IH) made the announcement in a statement on Wednesday night.

The statement also announced that 5,254 HOS flats in Zone A, the application period of which was launched in 2021, will be sold at an average price of 26,100 patacas per square metre in terms of gross floor area.

According to the statement, 5,415 HOS flats in Zone A, the application period of which was launched last year, will also be sold at an average of 26,100 patacas per square metre in terms of gross floor area.

The application period of the 5,415 HOS flats, which started on September 27 last year and was initially to run until December 27 last year, has meanwhile been extended to March 27 this year.

Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng told lawmakers in November last year that the government would announce unit prices of the first group of HOS flats in Zone A before the end of January 2024.

Three HOS estates comprising the 3,017 flats are slated to be completed later this year.
