The Studio City Water Park in Cotai has recently been ranked as one of China’s top 100 novel attractions by the Global Travel Play Book (全球旅行玩法寶典), according to a statement from integrated resort operator Melco Resorts & Entertainment.
The “2023 China Top 100 Novel Travel Experiences” (百大國內旅遊新玩法) list is published in the play book, which is jointly issued and compiled by China Tourism Academy and Chinese travel platform Mafengwo (馬蜂窩), the statement noted.
The water park features both “indoor and outdoor aquatic fun” for its visitors, the statement said. The park’s Indoor Dome is one of Asia’s first all-weather indoor waterparks that covers around 10,000 square metres with 16 attractions, seamlessly merging with the family-friendly Outdoor Park, which features attractions for guests of all ages, according to the statement.
The statement quoted Studio City Senior Vice President and Property General Manager Kevin Benning as saying: “The prestigious award underlines our dedication to constantly innovating and delivering unparalleled entertainment attractions. As we continue pushing boundaries to introduce innovative attractions, experiences and services, our focus remains on setting the highest standards of hospitality to benefit both guests and the continued growth of Macau’s diversified economy and tourism sector”.
