Saturday night in Fuqing, Ng “The Macau Kid” Kuok Kun – aka KK – took on Thailand’s Weerachit Kitee in his 10th professional fight with a China Professional Boxing Union (CBPU) belt on the line.
True to form KK KO’d Weerchat in 1.28 minutes of the second round and came home having achieved a goal.
It’s the first time that KK has been able to challenge for a belt of any type and the fact that he was not fighting in Macau or Hong Kong was bittersweet for many of his fans.
