Jaywalking boy hit by tourist coach, breaks right foot: police

A mainland boy sustained a fracture of his right foot after being hit by a tourist coach yesterday as he did not use a pedestrian crossing when he crossed the road, the Public Security Police (PSP) said in a statement.

According to the statement, the male coach driver, who is in his thirties, is a local resident. The police conducted a breathalyser test on the driver with the test showing that his alcohol concentration was zero grammes of alcohol per litre of blood.

The accident happened near Grand Lisboa on Praça Ferreira Amaral at noon yesterday.
