According to Cheong, on Friday afternoon, the police received information about a traffic accident involving two motorcycles colliding in Rua da Ribeira do Patane. The rear motorcyclist, Tou, sustained minor injuries and was reeking of alcohol, and a breathalyser test detected his alcohol concentration as 1.65 grammes of alcohol per litre of blood.

According to Cheong, a police officer on patrol in Estrada Governador Nobre de Carvalho noticed a traffic accident where a car had crashed into the kerb in the wee hours of Saturday.
