The 2024 Sands China Macao International 10K is slated to take place on Sunday, with runners able to collect their bibs and information documents at the Olympic Sports Centre – Indoor Pavilion between 12 noon to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow, and between 12 noon and 10 p.m. on Saturday, the Sports Bureau (ID) said in a statement on Tuesday.
The bib collection period started yesterday.
The statement noted that one can collect their bib packs by presenting their registration receipt and ID. An authorised representative can also collect the items for those unable to go in person but are required to present their ID, the participant’s registration receipt with authorisation signature, and the participant’s ID copy.
The upcoming Fun Run and 10K race will respectively start at 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., starting from Sai Van Lake Square and finishing at the Olympics Sports Centre Stadium, according to the statement.
Meanwhile, this year’s “The FUNkiest Costume Award” is themed “Magic Run”. The statement said that participants can upload a photo of themselves wearing their costume matching the theme, along with their number bib, from 9 a.m. on Saturday to 9 a.m. on Sunday. The statement added that the participants must finish the race in their registered costume, with 10 winners to be chosen to receive prizes.
Moreover, the statement noted, the event’s FUN Kids Interactive Running Zone is being held at The Venetian Macao in Cotai between 12 noon and 8 p.m. until Saturday.
