The planning for the relocation of the 15 campuses included in the government’s “Blue Sky Project” is progressing, Wong Kin Mou, who heads the Research and Educational Resources Department of the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEJ), said yesterday.
Wong made the remarks during a press conference after a regular closed-door meeting of the government-appointed Non-Tertiary Education Committee, headed by Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Alexis Tam Chon Weng, at the bureau.
The project, which the government expects to be completed in 15 to 20 years time, was launched earlier this year to help schools with campuses on the lower floors of high-rise buildings move into their own buildings.
