The Tap Siac Craft Market is slated to take place from April 18 to 21 and April 25 to 28 in Praça do Tap Seac, with registrations for its 65 creative handicraft workshops, including 12 sessions for families, open from today until 5 p.m. on April 8, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday.
“Tap Siac” is the bureau’s alternate spelling for Tap Seac.
Workshops in ceramics, floral arrangement and knitting are among the activities on offer. With a 50 pataca fee per workshop, the statement noted that one can register to join a workshop on www.craftmarket.gov.mo, with each person able to register for up to two workshops, but only once per workshop.
Successful applicants will be chosen through a lucky draw and will be notified via SMS on April 9, the statement said, adding that successful applicants should arrive on time, or they will be replaced by waitlisted on-site applicants. Their fees will not be refunded.
