Six groups, comprising five small trade unions and the Macau Family Reunion Federation, and two individuals demonstrated on Tuesday – the 17th anniversary of the establishment of the Macau Special Administrative Region (MSAR).
According to the Public Security Police (PSP), about 600 people participated in the protest marches.
The Macau Workers’ Power Union, Union for the Protection of the Employment Rights of Local Workers, Macau Bar Benders Association, Macau Workers’ Alliance Association, and Macau Democratic Action Association took part in the demonstrations.
