The Judiciary Police (PJ) yesterday announced the arrest of six people on suspicion of trafficking and taking drugs in three separate cases.
Three local men were arrested on Wednesday in one of the cases. A PJ spokesperson said in a special press conference yesterday that the police received a tip-off that members of a cross-border drug trafficking gang were planning to smuggle a kilogramme of marijuana into Macau.
After investigating, the police identified the buyers of the marijuana as two local brothers surnamed Kou, aged 27 and 31. A dealer surnamed Wong was also identified by the police, according to the spokesperson.
