Sands Resorts Macao said in a statement earlier this month that it had recently won the “Best Resort in China” award at the 17th Annual TTG China Travel Awards 2024, marking the seventh time that the integrated resort (IR) operator has received the award.
The TTG China Travel Awards were established in 2008 and, according to the statement, is “an esteemed annual event that celebrates stellar travel suppliers across airlines, hotels and resorts, serviced residences and travel services segments”, with winners voted by readers, which comprise travel consultants, tour operators and destination management companies.
Winning the award amounts to “industry confirmation of the unparalleled quality of the integrated resort city and its world-class facilities, first-rate activities and entertainment options and professional service”, according to the statement.
The statement quoted Sands China Ltd. Hotel Operations Senior Vice President Kris Kaminsky as saying: “It is an honour for Sands Resorts Macao to have been awarded the Best Resort in China at this year’s TTG China Travel Awards, and acknowledged for its excellence by travel industry professionals. To have won this coveted award for five consecutive years is also recognition of our team members’ dedication and professionalism, and motivates us to maintain our exemplary standards.”
