A Hong Kong man has been arrested for drunk driving and driving in the wrong direction, PSP spokeswoman Lai In Hong said during a regular press conference yesterday.
The suspect surnamed Wong is in his thirties.
According to the Lai, Wong had a dispute with a man at Rotunda das Palmeiras in Coloane over a parking issue, during which the man noticed Wong smelt strongly of alcohol and promptly reported the incident to the police.
Upon arrival, the police conducted a breathalyser test on the suspect, which showed that his alcohol concentration was 2.46 grammes of alcohol per litre of blood, Lai added.
Wong has been transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office (MP), facing a drunk-driving charge, Lai said.
