Failing to meet the government’s water quality standards, the swimming pool at the Tamagnini Barbosa Sports Centre has been closed until further notice, with disinfection and cleaning to be carried out, according to a statement by the Sports Bureau (ID) yesterday.
Refunds for those who have already bought tickets to swim there via the online booking system will be refunded to their online account through the relevant electronic payment method.
The bureau “regrets any inconvenience caused by the temporary closure of the swimming pool and appreciates the public’s understanding”, according to the statement.
