A local man with a criminal record for sexual harassment and exhibitionism has been arrested for masturbating while standing behind a female passenger on a bus, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Cheong Heon Fan said at a regular press conference yesterday.
The 29-year-old suspect surnamed Ng works in an engineering company. The victim is in her twenties.
According to Cheong, on Monday morning the victim was standing on a bus when she felt something repeatedly bumping into her buttocks. Later, she discovered semen stains on her trousers and promptly reported the case to the police.
After reviewing the CCTV footage from the bus, PSP officers identified Ng and apprehended him later that day. Under questioning, Li confessed to the crime, saying that he felt attracted to the victim. As a result, he admitted to masturbating in his trousers and intentionally smearing his semen on the victim.
Ng has been transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office (MP), facing a sexual harassment charge, according to Cheong.
