Macau’s number of visitor arrivals during the two-day New Year holiday fell 6.12 percent year-on-year to 318,948, according to a statement by the Public Security Police (PSP) yesterday.
A total of 495,862 people – locals, non-residents workers and visitors – entered the city on Sunday and Monday, while the total number of departures stood at 501,331.
Macau has seven border checkpoints, the Barrier Gate and Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal being the most busy ones.
