The government should build utility tunnels in the Zone A reclamation area, Central District Social Services Consultative Committee Deputy Convenor Veronica Kuong Iok Kao said yesterday.

According to Wikipedia, a utility tunnel is a passage built underground or above ground to carry utility lines such as electricity, water supply pipes, and sewer pipes.

Kuong made the remarks before a regular closed-door meeting of the committee at the Central District Residents Service Centre, saying that repeated roadworks deeply affected residents’ daily life.
