An award ceremony was held at MGM COTAI on Monday for the winners of the 2024 MGM Macao International Regatta Photography Competition, for which the submitted photos can be viewed in an online exhibition, according to a statement from the Sports Bureau (ID) released on the same day.
The 2024 MGM Macao International Regatta was held in Macau in January.
The winner of the photo contest is Ching Chun Keung, while Chan Weng Kin and Wu Kun Chio garnered 1st Runner Up and 2nd Runner Up respectively, the statement noted. Meanwhile, Chiang Ka Chon, Lam Pui Chi, Wu Kun Chio, Lam Kok Kun and Chan Weng Kin took home Merit Awards.
One can view the online exhibition on https://www.sport.gov.mo/zh/photos/type/album/id/499. A total of 43 photos are showcased on the website.
The bureau said in the statement that the photography contest was held to “encourage Macau residents to participate in the event in different ways and to deepen their knowledge and interest in sailing”.
The photo contest was organised by the bureau, integrated resort operator MGM and Ursa Major Sailing Management, in conjunction with the Photographic Society of Macau, according to the statement.
