As Tropical Cyclone “Maliksi” has weakened and is further moving away while Macau is still being affected by a south-westerly monsoon and its associated heavy rainbands, the Macau Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) has cancelled all Tropical Cyclone Warning signals at 6 p.m. today, but issued its Strong Monsoon Signal at the same time.

According to an SMG statement, frequent showers are expected to continue today, heavy at times.

The statement underlined that the Strong Monsoon "Black Ball" Signal was issued at 6 p.m.

Signal No. 3 remained hoisted between 4 p.m. yesterday and 6 p.m. today.

At 7 p.m. today, Macau's temperature stood at 25 °C, while relative humidity amounted to 96 percent.

The weather station forecast rain to continue at least until next Saturday.
