The findings of a survey conducted by the Macau Federation of Trade Unions show that gaming workers want a 5-to-7 percent pay rise.
The federation released the findings yesterday.
Leong Sun Iok, a vice-director of the federation, announced the findings of the survey during a press conference at the union’s headquarters in Estrada Marginal do Hipodromo.
The union conducted the survey between December 26 and January 6 and collected 7,646 responses from 16,098 gaming workers who had been contacted through telephone interviews, WeChat online interviews and by asking workers to fill in questionnaires at casino staff shuttle bus stops.
