Gaming Inspection and Co-ordination Bureau (DICJ) Deputy Director Leong Man Ion said yesterday new standards for slot machines will be out this year.
Leong made the remarks yesterday while speaking to reporters on the sidelines of SJM’s Grand Lisboa Palace Dealer Uniform Design Contest Awards Presentation Ceremony at Grand Lisboa.
Leong said there was a basket of regulations the bureau is amending, among them the proposed banning of dealers from gambling in casinos, adding that the bureau was planning to extend its consultations on the proposed ban before submitting the respective bill to the legislature for debate and vote.
