Integrated resort (IR) operator The Londoner Macao said in a statement yesterday that award-winning Cantopop icon Hacken Lee Hak Kan is set to perform at The Londoner Arena for weekend shows on September 21 and 22, with tickets to go on sale from Wednesday.
The show, entitled “Hacken Lee Symphonic Live in Londoner with Macao Orchestra”, marks the second time that Lee is teaming up with the Macao Orchestra after presenting four concerts of the same name at the arena last year, according to the statement. The upcoming concert will feature Lee’s soulful voice and vocal technique combined with the orchestra’s playing, according to the statement.
The statement added that Lee held many sold-out shows over the past year, including seven concerts with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra at the Hong Kong Coliseum, and in Reno, Las Vegas and Atlantic City in the US.
Moreover, the statement said that Lee also took his concert to Foshan, Shantou, Beijing, Ningbo, Guangzhou, Suzhou and Chengdu, as well as Singapore, earlier this year, with each attracting many fans, the statement said.
Tickets will be available from 12 noon next Wednesday, the statement said, priced between 580 patacas and 1,680 patacas.
