Macau’s 1st cardless currency exchange machine at airport now in service

Banco Delta Asia announced in a statement yesterday that Macau’s first cardless currency exchange machine comes into service at the departure hall of the local airport today, providing a 24-hour currency exchange service to residents and visitors.

The machine provides banknotes of multiple currencies such as yuan, yen, Singapore dollars and baht the statement said, adding that users can simply deposit pataca banknotes, select the type of non-local currency they need, and then enter their personal information to withdraw cash from the machine in the corresponding non-local currency.

Delta Asia Financial Group Chief Executive Officer Au Lai-Chong said she was pleased to see that her bank is the first one in Macau to launch a cardless non-local currency exchange machine, which will bring a more convenient and efficient foreign currency exchange transaction experience to residents and visitors alike.
