A PJ spokesperson briefed reporters about the case in front of the International Centre complex in Zape where the suspects were staying in a flat which was being run as an illegal inn.

The spokesperson said the suspects, aged between 55 and 66, cheated two local women in Fai Chi Kei and Toi San respectively earlier this month by talking them into buying overpriced electronic components. One of the victims lost HK$60,000 while the other lost HK$13,000.
