A mainland woman who travelled on bogus documents to Macau 202 times has been sentenced to three months behind bars, the Shanghai Daily reported at the weekend.
According to the Saturday report, which cited prosecutors in Shanghai’s Fengxian district, the female defendant surnamed Xiao from Guangdong province was handed the sentence for “illegally crossing the border.”
The report did not say when the sentencing took place and when the prosecutors made the remarks.
