An 18-year-old local woman was hit by a car at around midnight between Tuesday and yesterday in Zhuhai and died on the spot, a statement issued by the Unitary Police Service (SPU) said yesterday.
According to the statement, the SPU was informed by the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department yesterday afternoon that a car accident occurred at about midnight between Tuesday and yesterday in Zhuhai’s Xiangzhou District.
According to the statement, a car collided with pedestrian at the junction of Changsheng Road and Guihua South Road in Zhuhai’s Gongbei border town, resulting in her immediate death.
The Guangdong authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, the statement said.
