The “Style · Encounter Moment Fashion Parade of the Subsidy Programme for Fashion Design on Sample Making” is slated to take place at 12 noon on Friday at the Macao Fashion Festival 2024, during which over 60 sets of clothing will be presented by models, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement earlier this week.
The free-admission event will be hosted at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo Hall C.
The statement noted that the pieces to be showcased at the parade, which has been held since 2014, were created by fashion designers chosen from the 10th Subsidy Programme for Fashion Design on Sample Making. They are Chan Cheok Lim, Chan Nga Leong, Ding Zhen, Lam I Man, Lao Ka Weng, Leong Man Teng, Ng Ka Wai and Samson Brady Mark, according to the statement.
“By inviting local and non-local professionals of the sector and fashion buyers to attend the parade, the Fashion Parade will enhance the popularity of Macau’s fashion brands and the fashion sector, thus promoting cooperation and business opportunities”, the statement said.
