The Taipa Central Park Swimming Pool reopened yesterday after the completion of cleaning and disinfection work.
The pool had previously been closed due to the exceedance of the E. coli standard in the pool water because of external contamination.
In a statement on Saturday, the Sports Bureau (ID) announced that the pool has “met the requirements for reopening for public use after disinfection, cleaning, and water replacement”.
The statement noted that the online booking service has also resumed. One can buy tickets online or on the spot. More information can be found by visiting http://www.sport.gov.mo or call the bureau’s hotline on 2823 6363.
