SHENZHEN – A working group for the low-altitude economy has been inaugurated in Shenzhen, as part of efforts to develop the low-altitude economy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA).
This initiative is part of the GBA standard innovation alliance – a non-profit organization formed by diverse stakeholders from social groups, businesses, academia and experts.
The working group brings together various institutions, including the GBA standard innovation alliance, Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), the University of Hong Kong (HKU), South China University of Technology, Shenzhen Technology University, and the municipal market supervision administration of Shenzhen.
The group plans to create innovative technical standards tailored for the low-altitude economy, as well as develop experimental scenarios and expand commercial applications within the sector.
It also aims to nurture a skilled workforce knowledgeable in technology, patents and relevant standards, carry out standardization research in the sector, promote the integration with international standards, and provide strong support for the high-quality development of the local industry. – Xinhua
