Worker falls from height dismantling race MGP barriers

A 51-year-old non-resident worker (NRW) from the mainland fell from a height while dismantling the barriers of the Macau Grand Prix (MGP) Guia Circuit and was rushed to the public Conde de São Januário Hospital Centre for emergency treatment, the Public Security Police (PSP) said in a statement yesterday. 

According to the police, the male victim fell from a height of 1.7 metres and was injured near Hotel Golden Dragon on Avenida da Amizade. He sustained a fractured chin and bruising to his left rib cage.
