As Christmas draws near, various activities across Macau are taking place. One of them is the Christmas Market 2024 in Praça do Tap Seac (塔石廣場).
There, one might find a small train emitting lights of many colours as it makes its rounds with jolly passengers, grabbing the attention of passers-by and those perusing the market’s multi-themed booths that offer everything from toys and handicrafts to food and beverages.
Some might be snapping a picture or two of the colourful decorations set up, while families and young fairgoers share a smile as they eagerly await their turn on the free-of-charge ride like a merry-go-round and a high slide for those willing to brave the heights.
Those wanting to visit this year’s fair, which kicked off on Monday, can do so until New Year’s Day. It is open from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. The opening hours are extended to midnight for December 24, 25 and 31. More information is available on www.iam.gov.mo.
