After undergoing a US$7 million reconceptualisation, the “Square Eight” restaurant at MGM has been transformed into a culinary hot spot, offering the best of the northern and southern regions of mainland China in a lively yet sophisticated environment at a very reasonable price.
The two restaurants North by Square Eight and South by Square Eight are side-by-side but offer a very different atmosphere as with the very different flavours the two regions offer.Serving signature dishes from the northern and central parts of the mainland, North offers the authentic flavours, particularly the hot and spicy dishes that southerners sometimes crave, in an intimate setting with artwork by Macanese artist Victor Marreiros adorning the walls, evoking the courtyard houses in Beijing.
