Applications for the 43rd Macao Young Musicians Competition are slated to open from 10 a.m. on March 27 to 4 p.m. on April 2, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) said in a statement yesterday.
Dedicated to the piano category, the contest is slated to be held from July 19 to 31. To apply, one can access www.icm.gov.mo/CJMM, while registration and payment can be made through the “Macao One Account”. Late applications will not be accepted. The statement therefore reminded those interested to open their personal/entity “Macao One Account” in advance as the procedure takes time.
The statement said that on-site presential consultation and assistance services will be provided at the IC headquarters in Praça do Tap Seac (塔石廣場) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 27, 28 and 31 and on April 1, as well as from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 2.
Competition rules will be available from today at 10 p.m. on www.icm.gov.mo/CJMM, where more information can also be found. One can call 8399 6849 or email cjmm@icm.gov.mo for enquiries, according to the statement.
