The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a local man on Sunday for kicking his female neighbour’s metal gate in a residential building as he said he was angry with her for having been noisy every night for a month, PJ spokesman Tam Weng Keong said during a special press briefing yesterday.
The suspect also allegedly intended to attack his neighbour with a knife.
When the victim called the police and PJ officers arrived at the scene the suspect resisted arrest, Tam said.
