The operation of the Infrastructure Development Office (GDI) will be extended for another two years, to June 30 2019, according to an announcement published in the Official Gazette (BO) yesterday.
The government announced in 2015 that the operation of the office will be extended to June 30, 2017.
The office was set up in 2000 as an infrastructure “project team” for two years, which then was led by a director and a deputy director. Since then, the operation of the office has been extended several times.
