He made the remarks on the sidelines of the weekly open-air Macau Forum in Areia Preta Park.
Lei was a member of the government-appointed Logistics Development Committee which was axed by Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On in an executive order published last Monday. The committee was set up in 2011.
