According to a statement released by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) last night, the 77th international edition of the “Review of Culture” journal is now available to members of the public.
The statement said that the newly released issue features academic research exploring Macau’s cultural heritage and global connections. The statement noted that this time, the peer-reviewed publication “intertwines the themes of maritime conflict, diasporic heritage, and cultural hybridity, trying to explore Macau’s position in global historical narratives.”
The journal can be purchased for 150 patacas at various locations including government service centers, the Macau Museum of Art (MAM) and Plaza Cultural Macau bookshop, the statement said. It is also available through IC’s online bookshop at www.icm.gov.mo/bookshop.
Moreover, according to the statement, the bureau is accepting submissions for next year’s special edition focusing on Macau’s role as “Culture City of East Asia 2025 — Macao, China”. The statement said that researchers may submit articles in Chinese, Portuguese or English through the journal’s website at www.icm.gov.mo/rc.
Those interested in obtaining the latest edition or contributing to future issues can find more information on bureau’s official website.
