A 51-year-old ex-convict was arrested yesterday for burglarising a restaurant, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said in a special press conference yesterday.
The spokesperson said the burglary in Taipa was reported on March 7, in which 3,200 patacas were stolen from the cash register. The suspect also damaged the restaurant’s surveillance equipment.
After checking nearby surveillance cameras and further investigation, the police identified the suspect from his facial features and found out that he lives in Iao Hon district.
