Local ‘film worker’ nabbed for drug trafficking

A local man surnamed Sio, who told police that he works in films, was arrested on Wednesday for drug trafficking, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said in a special press conference yesterday.

The spokesperson said the police were tipped off a week ago about a local man smuggling drugs from the mainland and selling them in the city’s northern district.

After investigating, the police identified the 21-year-old suspect.

The University of Macau (UM) announced in a statement yesterday that a research article co-authored by UM scholar Aileen Lam Mei Mei entitled “Reframing Incentives for Climate Policy Action” was published in the top international journal Nature Energy.According to the statement, Lam is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics in the Faculty of Social Sciences.Yesterday’s statement pointed out that the journal has “an impact factor of 60.858” and publishes top research
