Lisboeta Macau H853 Fun Factory and Find Macau co-launched the “Pet Pet Loving Festival” on Saturday at Lisboeta Macau’s Old Macau Street, drawing over 1,000 pet lovers and their “furry friends” on Saturday, the resort in Cotai said in a statement that day.
Originally, the festival was supposed to last over the weekend, but because of Typhoon “Wipha” it was cut short by a day.
Featuring themed booths, pet play zones, and adoption parades, the event promoted pet-friendly living and animal welfare under the themes “Adopt, Don’t Abandon” and “Harmony among All Kinds of Animals”, according to the statement.
The opening ceremony was jointly officiated by Lisboeta Macau, AS Entertainment Ltd, Everyone Stray Dogs Macau Volunteer Group, and Macau Tortoise. Over 1,000 pet lovers and their animals participated in the festival that day.
The statement highlighted that photo op zones and themed props were set up to allow guests to capture memorable moments with their pets, while part of the event’s proceeds will support animal rescue and medical services through donations to the Everyone Stray Dogs Macau Volunteer Group.
Looking ahead, the statement pointed out, Lisboeta Macau plans to deepen collaborations with animal welfare groups to promote a caring, pet-friendly culture and enhance its image as a welcoming destination for animal lovers.
Saturday’s pet-fest lasted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
