The Macao New Chinese Youth Association uploaded yesterday a poster on its social media platform informing the public that it will co-host a festival titled “Enjoy Macao with Coffee” in conjunction with the Macau Science Centre (MSC), starting on Saturday.
According to a statement from the association, the organisers have collected over 25 coffee and light-food brands, showcasing the “charm of local culture” combined with coffee. Visitors can enjoy the sea breeze and sunset by the waterfront while participating in coffee-themed hands-on workshops, accompanied by live music and dance performances.
The event will be held at the heart-shaped Tree Square in front of Macau Science Centre from Saturday until August 27. During the period, different workshops will be available for public participation every Saturday and Sunday afternoon, while festivalgoers who post their snap shots of the festival on social media will receive complimentary commemorative merchandise.
The festival will run daily from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The opening ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. this Saturday; admission is free.
