The 11-night Oktoberfest Macau at MGM will be held from October 23 through November 2 on the Roof Terrace of MGM COTAI, with tickets now on sale and again bringing Munich’s Oktoberfest to the city.
MGM’s annual signature event, which will mark its 15th year, has welcomed over 190,000 attendees over the years. Its return will again see Oktoberfest hallmarks including large beer tents, traditional long wooden tables, and performers in Bavarian dirndls, according to a statement by the integrated resort operator yesterday.
The event’s menu, the statement said, features pork knuckle, roast chicken, and pretzels, paired with Löwenbräu (“Lion Brew”) beer, alcohol-free options, and specialty drinks. Munich’s HÖGL FUN BAND will be there again with their festival theme song “Nei Hou, Macau!”, while there will also be carnival games and activities for children.
This year’s Oktoberfest will also invite guests to “dress in festive outfits and embrace the Oktoberfest spirit” for the new “Best Costume Award”, the statement said.
