The “Halftone Exhibition ‘25” continues to display photos of various genres, with exhibitiongoers able to view them at the Rui Cunha Foundation (FRC) gallery until Saturday.
Presenting their works, which are both in colour and black and white, are 23 members of the Halftone— Macau Photographic Association, from Macau and elsewhere in China, as well as Portugal.
The 23 photos displayed range from those shot in a studio to those taken while out on busy streets and quiet scenes in places of worship. Each of the photographers present works of various genres and styles, as well as their approaches to creating images.
“Their work illustrates the vitality of photographic practice within these diverse regions”, according to a statement from Macau-based Halftone, which also celebrates its fourth anniversary through the exhibition.
One of the joint exhibition’s aims is to emphasise the diversity that photography allows and confirm its pivotal role in modern artistic and visual practices, particularly in Macau, the statement noted.
The works can be viewed at the free admission gallery, located at 749 Avenida da Praia Grande (澳門南灣大馬路) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2:30 to 7 p.m. until Friday, and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on its final day on Saturday. One can learn more about the association by visiting their website on www.halftone.photo, along with their Facebook and Instagram pages.
